Your data & exports

Download your records and understand correction and deletion.

Download your workspace

In Settings, choose the workspace to export, confirm your identity and download its private NDJSON file. Export each workspace separately if you need a copy of your whole account.

The export includes archived records, relationships, activity, task attempts and agent attribution. It excludes credential hashes, credential metadata, idempotency responses, browser sessions and infrastructure configuration. Keep the download private: it contains your business data.

The download represents a consistent snapshot, even when agents are making changes. Check that the file has its final completion record before processing it.

File format, version 1

The format is UTF-8 newline-delimited JSON (NDJSON), with one JSON object per line:

  • First: type: "manifest", format: "orbit-workspace", version: 1, exported_at, the workspace record and an exclusion list.
  • Middle: type: "record", table, and data containing one row. IDs, foreign keys, revisions, stored timestamps and typed JSON values are preserved. Empty objects remain objects rather than arrays.
  • Last: type: "complete" and counts, recording the number of exported rows for every table. Check these counts when processing a file.

Included tables are agents, field_definitions, tags, contacts, organisations, projects, tasks, affiliations, project_participants, activities, task_attempts, contact_tag, organisation_tag, project_tag, task_links, activity_links, and audit_events. The workspace itself is in the manifest. Agents include only ID, workspace ID, display name, role, revocation time and creation/update timestamps.

This is a portable data export, not an application backup. Automatic import and restore from an export are not available yet. JSON and Markdown downloads for individual records are also available in the record browser.

Correct or archive records

Ask an agent with edit access to update a record or archive it when it is no longer needed. Archiving preserves history; it does not erase the record. Activity is append-only: use a new entry with corrects_id for a correction.

Exceptional removal of sensitive activity content requires the service operator. Redaction removes the title, body and source references, including stored retry copies, while retaining attribution, links, timestamps and an audit event. There is no MCP redaction tool. Existing exports, agent conversations and independently copied data are not updated by redaction.

Request account deletion

Export any data you want to keep first. In Settings, confirm your identity and type DELETE to request deletion. This immediately disables your account and revokes its agents. The service operator completes data removal; requesting deletion is not an instant purge.

Historical backups follow the service operator’s retention policy. Deleting live data does not rewrite backups or remove copies you or your agents have stored elsewhere.
